Thanks to Mistilynn, we were able to acquire the ClubSpurs admin position with bogdog sports network which clublakers is a part of - it is similar to what we had with Rivals. She will be spearheading this project, and will be the main administrator of ClubSpurs.com along with myself.
We have needed a change for a long time, but nothing seemed right, etc until now. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and have a fresh new front page with increased exposure and we still will have control of the front page content and forum organization etc....The new forums will have many of the features we have wanted but could not get wth teh current ezboard setup. I am excited and think this will be a huge upgrade over what we currently have.
The spirit of SpursCentral will remain the same and hopefully we can do some of the things for our members that we have been wanting to do, but didn't have the resources or knowledge to accomplish.
I know that changing our name is a huge deal, especially for those of us who have been here since the beginning (there is a lot of pride in what we have built), but I really think this is a postive move in the right direction.
I ask for your support in this transition and look forward to building an even stronger community with your help.
